With conviction and vision as primary qualities, innovative solutions and dedicated customer care have ensured us a solid establishment on the Swedish market of snus. We are currently positioned as market leading within our main branch, focusing on snus in environmentally smart refill-packaging.

The foundations of the corporation's collective enterprises consists of the factory's production of snus, where genuine craftsmanship skills and traditional methods are combined with modern, adapted technology. The branches of the organisation are made up by a number of enterprises, collectively striving to complement and fulfil the corporation's comprehensive concept. The central business idea within this concept is the organisation's exclusively closed chain of production, packaging, marketing and sales through our own e-commerce platforms.

PRODUCTION HYGIENE STANDARDS

All handling and manufacture takes place in accommodated spaces fully in compliance with the hygiene standards set by the Swedish National Food Administration. The Swedish standards in this regard are set higher than current EU-standards. The processing equipment is cleaned according to a schedule, at least once per production cycle and at least once every 24 hours. This meticulous approach reaches beyond the requirements of the Swedish National Food Administration's regulations. The same routine is practised throughout the entire process from grinding the tobacco to packaging. Hygiene checks of the packaging machines are made according to strict routines, as well as verification checks of bacterial content and pH for finished and processed products. The water that is used in the production of our Swedish snus are 99,9% eliminated from microorganisms such as bacteria and virus. The batches of tobacco used is checked in order to control that any limits of heavy metals are not exceeded. A pasteurising method, unique to Swedish snus, is also used to eliminate any possible microbes and virus in the dried tobacco leaves.

TRAINING OF STAFF

All staff is continuously educated in matters of food safety and hygiene. Our high standards are directed by a meticulous self-monitoring plan focusing on hygiene, food safety and sensory analysis. The business is directed by a HACCP plan (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), just like any other Swedish NFA approved manufacturer. The HACCP plan was originally developed by NASA and also constitutes the EU standard for all food production today. This is in order to identify risks, and to control and document the production, mainly directed at food safety, but also with regards to aspects of the environment.

PACKAGING

The materials used in our packaging is approved for use with foodstuffs. Any packaging used in direct connection with the Swedish snus produced are made and transported to our factory according to established routines in order to avoid contamination.
